NEPSE practice trading
Practise on the real market.
Pay the real costs.
Place limit orders on live NEPSE prices with virtual money. Every ticket charges broker commission, the SEBON fee, the DP charge and capital gains tax, exactly as a real trade would, so what you learn transfers.

An arena order, in full
Buy 100 NABIL at Rs 512.00, sell at Rs 560.00.
The share price moves 9.38% in your favour: a Rs 4,800.00 gain on paper. Broker commission, the SEBON fee, the DP charge and capital gains tax take Rs 857.86 of it, 17.87% of the gain, gone before it reaches you. A practice account that ignores fees shows you the first number and never the second.
Every arena ticket shows this breakdown before you confirm, using the same engine as the calculators.

Why the fees matter
A practice account without fees teaches you that a small favourable move is a profit. On NEPSE it often is not. Charging the real costs is what makes a practice result worth trusting.
What it teaches
Four habits the arena builds.
Order mechanics, cost awareness, honest comparison, and the reflexes that hold when the money is real.
Limit orders, learned without the tuition fee
Place a limit order, watch it fill or expire, and understand what day validity means, all without any real money changing hands. The lesson lands differently when it costs nothing.
What fees do to a trade
Every arena order shows broker commission, SEBON fee, DP charge and capital gains tax before you confirm. Most paper trading skips this. The arena does not, because fees are what turn a winning idea into a flat result.
A leaderboard that is a fair test
Every season ends with a ranked table. Your position reflects your decisions, not luck: the same prices, same fees, same starting balance for everyone.
Reflexes that hold under real conditions
The arena mirrors actual NEPSE mechanics: real prices, real costs, real order types. The habits you build in practice are the ones that show up when you trade for real.
How it works
Three steps to your first practice trade.
The order matters here: you check the balance, place the order, then read the result against everyone else.
Open the arena and check your balance
Each season starts with a fresh virtual cash balance. Open the arena tab, see your current holdings and how the season stands, then decide what you want to buy.
Place a limit order
Pick a stock, set the price you want, and confirm. The order ticket shows broker commission, SEBON fee, DP charge and capital gains tax before you tap confirm, exactly as it would on a real trade.
Watch it settle and compare on the leaderboard
Your order fills at the real market price if the conditions are met, or expires at end of day if not. Check the leaderboard to see where your season return sits against other participants.
Virtual trading, sometimes called paper trading, is practising the stock market with pretend money. You place real-looking buy and sell orders on real stocks at real prices, but nothing is deducted from your bank account. The point is to learn how the market behaves before you put actual rupees on the line.
No. Every order in the arena uses virtual cash. There is no connection to your broker account, no real DEMAT, and nothing leaves your wallet. You can buy, sell, and lose the entire balance without a single paisa at stake.
Yes. The arena uses live NEPSE market data, the same feed that drives the rest of the app. When you place a limit order in the arena, it fills at the actual market price, not a simulated one. If NABIL trades at Rs. 512, your arena order executes at Rs. 512.
Because a practice that ignores fees teaches you the wrong habit. In real NEPSE trading, every buy and sell carries broker commission, a SEBON regulatory fee, a DP charge on sells, and capital gains tax. The arena charges all four on every order so your results mean something: a trade that looks profitable in the arena will look the same when you do it for real.
Each season starts with the same virtual balance for every participant. You trade freely across the season window using real NEPSE prices. At the end, the leaderboard ranks everyone by portfolio return. Seasons reset so new and experienced traders start equal each time.
