NEPSE heat map
All of NEPSE,
in one glance.
The heat map shows every sector on one screen, sized by market cap and coloured by today's move. Two seconds between opening the app and knowing what is hot.
One read
One screen. One read. No scrolling.
The questions you used to answer by tapping through top movers, sector chips and indices now answer themselves on one screen. The colour is the answer.
How it works
Three taps from overview to chart.
Open the map, read the colour, drill into the sector or stock you want.
01
Open the heat map
Tap Browse, then Markets, then Heat Map. It loads instantly. No setup, no filters to configure.
02
Read the colour
Bright lime is a strong gainer, bright red a strong loser, neutral grey roughly flat. Bigger tile, bigger sector. The whole market in one glance.
03
Drill where it matters
Tap a sector to see its stocks laid out the same way. Tap a stock to open its detail page. Three taps from the overview to the chart you actually want.
Questions
The honest answers.
Yes. While NEPSE is open, the map refreshes on the same cadence as the rest of the live market data in the app. Outside session hours it shows the most recent closing snapshot, clearly labelled.
Colour runs from neutral grey to bright lime for gainers and bright red for losers. The intensity tracks today’s percentage change, capped at three percent so a single circuit-limit outlier doesn’t wash the whole screen one colour.
Tile size is proportional to a sector’s share of total market capitalisation across the actively traded universe. Heavyweight sectors take more space; lighter sectors get smaller tiles.
Yes. Tapping a sector tile opens a second heat map of just the stocks in that sector, sized by turnover. Tap a stock tile to jump straight to its detail page.
Of course. The header carries the date and Punji branding, so when the screenshot lands in a Telegram or Viber group, anyone who sees it knows where it came from.
The map itself lives in the app, where the tap-to-drill-in flow makes sense. This page explains what it does. Free on iOS and Android.
